Private Kayaking on a Kisko river and a hike by Latokartanonkoski rapids, 3 hrs
If you enjoy nature and seek for strong experiencies this tour is for you. You will see both a historical site of Latokartanonkoski rapids and paddle down an easy part of Kisko River and enjoy it´s calm atmosphere. The duration of the tour is 3 hours.
This is a group tour for a group of maximum 4 people. If you are more, book also "Extra Paddler" when enrolling. The price for group of maximum 4 people is 300 € and extra paddler is 49 €.

On this tour
You will have 2 km, 30 minutes hike in a Finnish nature.
Guide will tell you how local people lived and worked by the Latokatanonkoski on historical times.
You will have a short introduction to kayaking, kayaking gear, paddling techniques and safety before paddling.
You will have a 30 minutes easy paddling down the river.
You will enjoy a break and have time for snacks sitting in your kayak.
You will paddle back another 30 minutes to a starting place.
Before your kayaking tour and hike
You will have a reminder in your email. In an email you will have all information how to get prepared for your guided kayking trip, information about meeting place and gear list.
Before starting the tour your guide will go through little bit of kayaking basics and safety rules: all gear, how to sit in a kayak, how to hold the paddle, and how to use the paddle while kayaking.
During your tour
You will have a short hike on nature trail taking approximately 1 hr. After hike, we have a short introduction to kayaking and safty. Then we paddle down the beautuful Kisko River for an half an hour. We will have a short break sitting in our kayaks. There is time to sip water and have some snacks. Then we paddle back to our starting point.
Is this a good tour for you?
This tour is suitable for all healty adults who can swim and can walk on uneven terrain.
We remind you that you cannot participate while intoxicated and it is prohibeted to use any alcohol or drugs during this trip.
There is an outdoor toilet next to the parking lot.
