Easy guided kayaking tour for groups
Have you always wanted to try kayking? Or do you like water sports and wish to test kayak on your holiday trip on Salo archipelago area?
Valla Outdoors organizes easy and safe kayaking tours for groups on Salo archipelago area. The price for group of maximum size of 4 people is 300 €.
This trip is availble June 28th - Aug 31st 2025.
You will have a good introduction to kayaking, kayaking gear, paddling techniques and safety.
You will have a 30-45 minutes paddling to an island or nice little beach.
You will enjoy a break and have time for snacks.
You will paddle back another 30-45 minutes to a starting place.
Where do we paddle?
This tour is convenient in Särkisalo starting from Meripirtti beach. But we can also organize tour near by your accomodation in Särkisalo or Salo area. Good spots to start are Förby Marina, Niksaari Island and Vuohensaari area by Salo city center. We also take you kayaking on Kisko River.
Before Trip
You will have a reminder in your email. In sn email you will have all information to get prepared for your guided kayking trip: meeting place and gear list.
Before starting the trip your guide will go through little bit of kayaking basics and safety rules: all gear, how to sit in a kayak, how to hold the paddle, and how to use the paddle while kayaking.
During your trip
On this tour you will paddle to an island or a small beach, have a break and paddle back. Length of whole kayaking trip is around 4-5 km. Paddling time is around 45 minutes to one direction.
This tour is suitable for all healty adults who can swim. We remind you that you cannot participate while intoxicated and it is prohibeted to use any alcohol or drugs during this trip.
All our guides are locals from coastal area, outdoor professionals and warm hearted people.
